Why Purple and Pink Fight Each Other

Lilac hydrangeas sit in the transition zone between the two, because a lighter purple can bridge the gap where a straight swap would cut. Delphinium goes only on the outer edge and the top, reaching 10-15cm past the frame so the silhouette is not a clean scissor cut. Greenery stays in the inner gaps as a separator, not as filler.
